Obituary of Luz Oquendo Cintron

Luz Miriam Oquendo, 54, went to be with the Lord, November 1, 2021. Ms. Cintron was born in Jayuya, Puerto Rico to Maria Virginia Cintron and the late Fermin Oquendo. She loved to shop and cook and cater to her children and grandchildren. Surviving, is her companion, Elier Martinez; a son, Jose Ortega; a daughter, Eillin Ortega; four brothers, Fermin Oquendo, Moises Oquendo, Jose Oquendo and Luis Perez; three sisters, Edna Robles, Brunilda Robles and Laura Oquendo and four grandchildren, Joselyn Ortega, Daemian Silva, Natalie Sanchez and Siah Brown. Funeral Services will be 12-2pm Wednesday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
