Obituary of David William Green

David William Green, 54, husband of Heather Malone Green for 27 years, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 8, 2021. Mr. Green was the son of the late Ondrea Bryant Anderson and John “Jack” Lee Anderson. He was a member of Simpsonville United Methodist Church and currently employed at Kenco. David was an avid Gamecock fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR. He enjoyed cooking and grilling for family and friends. His greatest love was spending time with his family and being “Papa” to his grandchildren. David leaves behind a legacy and example to his family that will not be forgotten. He showed what being a man looks like, loving and caring for his wife, and providing for his family. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Jonathan Youngblood and Alex Green and wife, Samantha; a daughter, Heather Leigh McGuire and husband Jason; a brother, Robby Green; a sister, Kristie Bratcher and husband Dale; five grandchildren, Mason McGuire, Connor McGuire, Logan Green, Harper Green, and Gracelyn McGuire. A Celebration of Life will be from 1-6pm Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Bellview Meadows 281 Swallow Drive Fountain Inn, SC 29644.
