Obituary of Kenneth Edward Bartlett

Kenneth “Ken” Edward Bartlett, 79, husband of Lizbeth Hufnagel Bartlett for 23 years, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Mr. Bartlett was born in Akron, NY to the late Edward George Bartlett and Ruby Meyer Bartlett. Ken spent his childhood life living on his family farm in Akron. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from Perry’s Ice Cream after 24 years of service. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed Sunday breakfast at the Coach House with the “Sunday Breakfast Club”. His greatest love was his family and being “Poppi” to his grandchildren. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his son, Tim Bartlett and wife Michele; daughter, Brenda Gregory; stepson, James Fox; stepdaughter, Paula McCormick and husband Michael; brother, Edward Bartlett and wife Sharon; a sister, Barb Sutch and husband Milton; brother in-law, Brian Murray; seven grandchildren, Tia Bartlett, Emma Bartlett, Jack Bartlett, Ryan Bartlett, Kayla Gregory, Dominic Gregory, and Joshua Gregory; three step grandchildren, Gerald Fox, Morgan Fox, and Christian Rose; and several loving niece and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Sandra Murray and Nancy Bartlett. A Celebration of Life will be 5 o’clock Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends an hour prior. Burial, with military honors, will be 10 o’clock Tuesday at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
