Cecil Alexander Stewart, 88, husband of Helen Davenport Stewart, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 15, 2017.
Mr. Stewart was born in Piedmont to the late Orten Welborn and Maggie Hill Stewart. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving, in addition to his wife are a son, Alan Stewart (Debbie); two daughters, Robbie Vaughn (Melvin) and Karen Lowe; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be 6-8pm Wednesday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
Funeral Services will be 1pm Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Burial, with Military Honors will follow at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
