Obituary of Sarah Griffith Riddle

Sarah Ruth Griffith Riddle, 86, widow of Thomas Donald “Don” Riddle, Jr., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. Mrs. Riddle was born in Mauldin to the late Horace Griffith and Ruby Estelle Howell Griffith. She was a member of Fountain Inn First Baptist Church and the Faye Womack Sunday School class. Sarah and Don owned and operated Riddle Dairy together. Her claim-to-fame was cooking and she loved it. She participated in 17 mission trips where she was sure to share the gospel and good food. Sarah was a member of the Bus Nuts Club. She and Don were active RVer’s who traveled extensively, visiting almost every state in the continental US. Surviving are four sons, Allen Riddle, Lester Riddle, Ashley Riddle and wife Pam, and Scott Riddle and wife Sheri; a sister, Sandra Griffith-Teveit and husband Brent; a sister-in-law, Lenita Griffith; eleven grandchildren, Brooks Riddle, Janet Johnson and husband J.J., Lee Ann Robinson and husband Casey, Brittany Medlin and husband Clint, Josh Riddle, Chas Riddle and wife Courtney, Cole Riddle and wife Lauren, Caleb Riddle and wife Tori, Wyatt Riddle and wife Chelsea, Christopher Riddle and wife Kaili, and Savannah Riddle; and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Cecil Griffith. A Celebration of Sarah’s Life will be 3 o’clock Sunday at Fountain Inn First Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. Condy Richardson. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30-3 pm at the church. Burial will follow at Cannon Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Fountain Inn First Baptist Church, 206 N.
