Obituary of Fred Wylie Steen

Fred Wylie Steen, Jr., 63, husband of Marilyn Stoddard Steen for 26 years, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Mr. Steen was born in Lubbock, TX to Fred Wylie Steen, Sr. and the late Marla Jane Smith Wright. Fred was a veteran of the US Marine Corp. He owned and operated Creative Wallpaper by Fred Steen for many years. Fred enjoyed gardening and growing cacti. Surviving, in addition to his wife and father, are two daughters, Jennifer Steen and Amanda Steen; two sisters, Sheree Toal with husband Steven, and Angela Allen with husband Glenn; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Fred’s Life will be 4 o’clock Monday at Owings Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to Owings Methodist Church, P.O. Box 131, Gray Court, SC 29645.
