Berry Arthur Lipscomb, 71, husband of Joan Rich Lipscomb for 52 years, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 6, 2022.
Mr. Lipscomb was born in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Arthur Lipscomb and Eloise Gibbs. Berry and Joan lived in Grand Rapids and Buckley, MI for most of their lives before moving to Simpsonville, SC.
He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and woodworking. Berry also enjoyed drawing and painting.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Scott Lipscomb and Chad Lipscomb; a daughter, Kelly Geno; three grandchildren, Richard Kolka II, Christian Lipscomb, and Joanna Smith with husband Jade; a sister, Mary Sullivan; seven sisters-in-law, Ethel Thebo, Shirley Lawton, Barbara Herring, Mary Jane Storey, Betty Rich, Carol Morehouse with husband Jim, and Judy Bennett with husband Larry; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Mike Combs and Terry Combs; and one sister, Geraldine Davis.
The family will have a Celebration of Berry’s Life January 28th, at 11 o’clock, officiated by Ronald Thebo. Located at 126 Courtland Rockford, MI 49341. Family and friends are invited for lunch afterwards.
