Obituary of Harold W. Atwood

Harold W. Atwood, 90, husband of the late Martha Fletcher Atwood, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Mr. Atwood was born in Camperdown Way, Greenville, SC to the late Clyde Jacob Atwood and Pearl Lee Chandler Atwood. He was the owner and operator of Atwood Insulation. Harold loved westerns and knew the old ones by heart. He loved his family dearly and cherished his time as a grandfather. Surviving is a daughter, Kay Atwood; a son, Joe Scott and his wife Pam; three brothers, Clyde Atwood, James Atwood, and Jackie Atwood; a sister, Mary Francis Garrett; six grandchildren, Johnny, Missy, Dana, Mark, Julie, and Christy; and many great and great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons, John Alton Scott and Jackie Ray Scott. A Celebration of Harold’s Life will be 11 o’clock Saturday (January 22nd) at Conestee Church of God.
