Obituary of Doris Jean Ramey

Doris Jean Ramey, 83, widow of the late David Ramey, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Mrs. Ramey was born in Greenville, SC to the late James Leonard Snow and Mildred Leone Mahaffey Snow. She was a member of Clear Spring Baptist Church. She loved to travel and had visited all 50 states. Mrs. Ramey enjoyed gardening, especially growing her prized day lilies. Surviving are two sons, Michael E. Fowler and wife Iris and Mark A. Fowler and wife Shirlene; a sister, Nancy Snow Harper and three grandchildren, Michael Blake Fowler, Ryan Porter Fowler and Chad Anthony Fowler. A Celebration of Mrs. Ramey’s Life will be 1 o’clock Friday in the Chapel at Greenville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will follow the service.
