Obituary of Lee Templeton

Lee Roy “Leroy” Templeton, 81, husband of Sara Templeton went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2022.

Mr. Templeton was born in Laurens to the late Robert Templeton and Margret Gillespie.

He loved hunting and fishing and auto racing. He enjoyed trips to Home Depot and spending his free time working in the yard. Leroy had a big heart and was always willing to help when he could.

Surviving are daughter, Bea Gaffney with husband Richard, and step-daughter Patricia Thompson with husband Cecil. Six step-Grandchildren: six great step-grandchildren and one great great step-grandchild. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a step-son, Robert Humphries.

A Celebration of Leroy’s life will be Monday January 24, 2022 at 2pm at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends at 1:30pm. Burial will be at Highland Home Baptist Church Cemetery.
