Barbara Ollice Wood Thompson, 79, wife of Joseph Robert “Joe” Thompson for 56 years, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 21, 2022.
Mrs. Thompson was born in Simpsonville to the late Willie Owens and Ollice Grant “O.G.” Wood. Barbara was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and retired from Greenville County School District. She enjoyed camping, traveling and going to flea markets.
Surviving, in addition to her husband are a son, Mark Thompson; and grandson, Joseph Thompson. She was predeceased by a brother, Joe Wood.
Family will receive friends from 12-12:30pm Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Graveside services will follow at 1 o’clock in Harmony Cemetery, Fountain Inn.
