Obituary of Henry Marvin Kelley

Henry Marvin Kelley, 74, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Mr. Kelley was born in Belton to the late Jesse Marvin Kelley and Lillian Lorene Kelley. He was the owner of Kelley’s Contracting and member of Hillside Baptist Church. Marvin loved to socialize. He enjoyed meeting people, telling jokes and would improvise songs. He also enjoyed auctions and shopping at flea markets. Surviving are two sons, Israel Kelly and Brandon Kelley with girlfriend Sam; two daughters, Delone Garcia and husband Rogelio and Tabitha Kelly with boyfriend Barry “Bird-Dog”; three brothers, Curtis Kelley with wife Rosalie, David Kelly with wife Debbie and Mack Kelly; a sister, Ann Wilson; and eight grandchildren, Tristan Ramsey, Taylor Walker, Lance Marrero, Mackenzie Simmons, Ariel Kelly, Ashley Brantley, Jasmine Murphy and Sofia Garcia; five great-grandchildren, Landon Alexander, Carter Ambridge, Brooklyn Fetting, Oliver Brantley and Luna Ambridge. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Wednesday at Fletcher Funeral Service. A Celebration of Marvin’s Life will be 1 o’clock Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Eddie Howard. Burial will follow in Hillside Baptist Church Cemetery.
