Obituary of Ralph Lynn Pennington

Ralph Lynn Pennington, 73, husband of Mildred Virginia Franklin Pennington for 50 years, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 22, 2022. Mr. Pennington was born in Greenville to the late A.C. Pennington and Roberta Johnson Pennington. He was a veteran of the US Army. Ralph enjoyed watching racing and was avid Dale Earnhardt fan. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Loretta Mitchell; a brother, Jerry Pennington; two sisters Peggy Hinton with husband Bud and Linda Smith; one granddaughter, Mandy Mitchell; three great grandchildren, Lillie Passwater, Damian Passwater, and Zoe Garrett. A Celebration of Ralph’s Life will be 4 o’clock Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends immediately follow the service. Burial will be at Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
