Obituary of Madeline Pandy Sokolowski

Madeline Helen Pandy Sokolowski, 92, widow of Louis Anthony Sokolowski, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Mrs. Sokolowski was born in Frenchtown, NJ to the late John Pandy and Mary Ellis Pandy. Madeline retired from General Electric in Schenectady, NY and enjoyed traveling with Louis. She was a parishioner of Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church and Mauldin Senior Center. Madeline also volunteered at Hillcrest Hospital and loved to sew. Surviving are three daughters, Lou Ann Rabideau with husband Carey, Lori Harper with husband Curtis, and Leigh McFarland with husband Robert, and a grandson, Cody Rabideau with wife Emmy. Madeline was the last surviving of her siblings. She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph Pandy and John Pandy, and four sisters, Irene Prefontiane, Mel Vincie, Margaret Winfield, and Anne Tistan. A Mass Service will be held 10 o’clock Tuesday at Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at 3 o’clock Tuesday at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
