Obituary of Larry Dean Julian

Larry Dean Julian, 70, husband of Sandra “Sandy” Stockton Julian, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Mr. Julian was born in Greenville to the late Thurman Wesley Julian and Josie Pauline Swafford. He was member of Victory Chapel Baptist Church and was a member of Pelzer Masonic Lodge #217. He was a lifelong carpenter by trade. Dean enjoyed fishing and being outdoors and spending time with his family. He mostly loved being “Papa” to his grandchildren. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Chris Julian and wife Tina, and Bryan Julian and wife Michelle; a daughter, Melinda J. Barnes and husband Eric; three brothers, Rudolph Julian and wife Linda, James Julian and wife Misty, and Paul Julian and wife Rebecca; a sister, Ruth Fuller; eight grandchildren, Michael Brown, Josh Julian, Chad Julian Brooke Massengale, Madison Barnes, Noah Brown, Taylor Brown and Josie Julian; seven great-grandchildren, Brayden Foster, Myla Julian, Conner Massengale, Benson Massengale, Kinley Julian, Asher Julian, and Landon Julian. He was predeceased by his first wife, Brenda Thompson Julian; a daughter, Miranda Jackson; and his brother, Harold Julian. A Celebration of Dean’s Life will be 6:30pm Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Tommy Ramey. The family will receive friends from 5-6:30pm Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Burial will be 11am Saturday in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
