Obituary of Margaret Elizabeth Bragg

Margaret Elizabeth Suttles Bragg, 96, widow of John Henry Bragg, Jr., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 6, 2022. Mrs. Bragg was born in Fountain Inn to the late Adger Preston Suttles and Mamie Emily Prather Suttles. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She retired from Kemet Electronics and worked many years at Patsy’s Sunroom. Margaret was a devoted Nanny to her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and long rides and sightseeing. Surviving are a son, Steve Bragg; two daughters, Patsy Kelly and Michelle Osborn; two brothers and their wives, Preston and Julie Suttles, and Arthur and Judy Suttles; six grandchildren, Arlene “Punk” Abercrombie and husband Ricky, Kathy Neal and husband James, Robert Holcombe, Blake Turner and wife Dana, Kayla Gowan and husband Ray, and Brooke Mundy and fiancé James Medlin; ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by six brothers, John Robert Suttles, Lawrence Suttles, Berry Suttles, Jack Suttles, T.D. Suttles and Roger Suttles; two sisters, Mae Neal and Carlene Ellison; and two grandchildren, Jackie Smith and Michael Smith. A Celebration of Margaret’s Life will be 1 o’clock Saturday at Beulah Baptist Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
