Obituary of Wayne Holmes

Raymond Wayne Holmes, 72, husband of Sandra Martin Holmes, went to be with the Lord, December 17, 2021.
Mr. Holmes was born in Edgefield to Annie Rucker Holmes and the late Raymond Whitlock Holmes. Wayne was a faithful and active member of Christ Community Church. He was a USC graduate and an employee of Michelin for more than 30 years. Wayne was an avid bowler, and member of two Senior Bowling Leagues. Wayne was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother.
Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are a son, Blake G. Holmes and wife Katy Schlotman Holmes and their children, William Crawford and Clare Elizabeth; a daughter, Allison Holmes; and a sister, Judy Holmes Murphy and husband Thomas Patrick.
A Celebration of Wayne’s Life will be 2pm February 19, 2022 at Christ Community Church.
