Dorothy Capps Vinson Murray, 87, widow of Alvin Murray, died, Monday, January 30, 2017.
Mrs. Murray was born in Seneca to the late Bernice and Artie Duvall Capps. She loved to sew and make quilts.
Surviving are four sons, Robert Vinson (Kathy), Mackey Vinson (Sally), Donnie Vinson (Vanessa)and Mack Murray (Lisa); three daughters, Judy Grant, Brenda Whitfield and Debbie Key (Perrin); two sisters, Betty Vinson (Charles) and Jenny Cox (R.C); fourteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Vince Murray and six brothers.
Funeral services will be 1:30 Wednesday in the chapel of Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Cannon Memorial Park.
