Obituary of Rafael Naranjo Velazquez

Abundio Rafael Naranjo Velazquez, 65, husband of the late Janice Louise Gault Naranjo, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 21, 2022. Mr. Naranjo was born in Mexico to the late Rafael Naranjo Mucino and Adela Velazquez Luna. He worked at Fountain Inn Warehouse & Transfer Company. Rafael enjoyed riding motorcycles and taking cruises. Surviving are a son, Rafael Naranjo with companion Terri; four daughters, Maria Naranjo Mendoza, Rocio Naranjo Mendoza, Loena Naranjo, and Maria del Carmen Naranjo; step-daughter, Elizabeth Mendoza (Sergio); a brother, Pedro del Bosque; a sister, Piedad Naranjo; and thirteen grandchildren, Valeria Naranjo, Alberto Rafael Valencis, Fernanda Villegas, Jesus Naranjo, Gabril Naranjo, Seibian Mendoza (Kayla), Gabriela Mendoza, Raiden Mendoza, Castiel Mendoza, Moises Cruz, Diego Alejandro Cruz, Marcos Mancera, and Juan Mancera. He was predeceased by a brother, Concepcion Naranjo. A Celebration of Rafael’s Life will be 1 o’clock Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the home of Rafael Naranjo, 25 Lockhorn Lane in Simpsonville.
