Obituary of Terry Lee Maurer

Terry Lee Maurer, 69, husband of Mary Ellen Frehafer Maurer, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, April 16, 2022. Mr. Maurer was born in Ashland, PA to Virginia Shadle Maurer and the late Harry Ray Maurer. He was a retired Air Traffic Controller from the US Airforce after serving for 22 years. Terry was a member of Temple Baptist Church where he was involved in the Grow Group and was a member of the American Legion. Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother are three sons, Jon Maurer (Kelli), Chris Maurer and Carl Gradwell (Crystal); two daughters, Cindy Langley (Bobby) and Tanya Calabrese (Joe); two brothers, Kevin Maurer and Greg Maurer (Vickie); a sister, Joanna Maurer; twelve grandchildren, Amanda McGlasson (Matt), Jennifer Chambers (Chris), Bobby Langley, Jr (Jewel), Melissa Langley, Anna Acker (Jason), Katelyn Wynn (Seath), James Maurer (Kattylynn), Maddison Maurer, Laylie Maurer, Natasha Dieter (Gabe), Brian Calabrese and Emily Gradwell and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Jamie Maurer. A Celebration of Terry’s life will be 2pm Saturday, April 30th at Temple Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
