Obituary of Jonathan Michael Tucker

Jonathan Michael Tucker, 45, high school sweetheart and husband of 19 years to Amanda “Mandy” Stone Tucker, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 8, 2022. Jonathan was born in Greenville and is the son to Debbie Hogue Tucker and Randall Farrell Tucker. Jonathan was an alumnus of Lander University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management. He also is an Alpha Tau Omega alumnus where he served as Pledge Educator, Vice President and President. Jonathan was the President and Owner of America’s Swimming Pool Company Greenville and previously spent 15 years in the financial industry. Jonathan was often described as giving, competitive, loyal, stubborn, hard- working, loving, driven, selfless and a fighter. He enjoyed golf, billiards, fishing, coaching baseball and traveling. He mostly loved spending time with family and friends. Surviving, in addition to his wife and parents, are his maternal grandmother, Susanna “Susie” Brunn Hogue; son, Jackson “Stone” Tucker; daughter, Alexis “Alex” Tucker; brother, Matthew “Matt” Tucker (Tica); father and mother in-law, Dennis and Shirley Stone; brother in-law, Denny Stone (Jackie Benton); two nieces, Rebecca Stone (Jake Hawkins) and Emma Stone; nephew, Jordan Ruff; many special friends; and his fur babies, Remi and Lilly. A Celebration of Jonathan’s Life will be 4 o’clock Thursday at First Baptist Simpsonville Upstate Church (Downtown Campus Worship Center). Public viewing will be available at 3pm. Burial will follow in Cannon Byrd Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 4-6pm Wednesday at their home, 102 White Meadow Court, Simpsonville. In Memory of Jonathan, Fletcher Funeral Service will be accepting love donations for the future education of Stone & Alex Tucker. Donations may be payable to Fletcher Funeral Service, 1218 North Main Street, Fountain Inn, SC 29644.
