Obituary of Larry Dean Head

Larry Dean Head, 86, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 2, 2022. Mr. Head was born in Laurens, South Carolina to the late Armond Eugene Head, Sr. and Gertrude Ozell Epps Head. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and member of Bethule Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, watching college and high school football, gardening, and was an avid history buff. He mostly loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially his grandchildren. Surviving are two sons, Mark Head and wife Suzie and Michael Head; daughter, Tina Clark and husband Jeff; 3 brothers, Ronnie Head and wife Leslie, Armond Head, Jr. and wife Tammy and Maurice Head and wife Sharon; 3 grandchildren, Nikki Clark, Shawn Head, and Brittany Bonner. He was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Bonner; 2 brothers, William Head and Robert Head; 2 sisters, Sandra Phillips and Brenda Hoover. Funeral services with military honors will be 11:00am, Thursday June 9th at Fletcher Funeral Service in Ft Inn. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
