Obituary of Brenda Rowell Wilson

Brenda Kay Rowell Wilson, 70, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 3, 2022. Ms. Wilson was born in Tallapoosa, GA to the late Johns Franklin Rowell and Millie Ruth Gordon Rowell. Brenda enjoyed singing and dancing, photography and cooking for her family. She was an avid reader and a story teller. She collected Native American figurines and movies. Brenda was a selfless, giving and free-spirited soul. She loved her family and loved being “Gigi” to her grandchildren. Surviving are three sons, Joey Wilson (Joni), Tony Sanchez (Tiffany) and Cruz Wilson (Jessie); four sisters, Deb Ramirez (Cruz), Freda Gibbs (Jimmy, Sandy Smith, and Linda Crowe; nine grandchildren, Austin Tisdale, Amiaya Martin (Tyler), Jayce Wright, Liam Wilson, J.T. Wright, Chi Sanchez, Efren Sanchez, Angel Montoya, Kaleb Montoya, Kayleigh Wilson, and Conner Montoya; two great grandchildren, Tyler and Johnathan. She was predeceased by two sisters, Tina Martin and Kathy Holbert. A Celebration of Brenda’s Life will be 6pm Sunday at Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Eric Taylor.
