Obituary of Gibson Cole Edwards

Please share a memory of Gibson to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Master Gibson “Gibbs” Cole Edwards, 4, gained his wings and joined his Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Master Gibbs was born in Greenville to Allice “Allie” Elizabeth Fowler Edwards and Jonathan Daniel Edwards. Like Father - Like Son…Gibbs wanted to be a policeman just like his dad. He was a happy, inquisitive, competitive little boy who loved PJ Mask, Paw Patrol and Blippi. He enjoyed singing, music and wrestling with his daddy. Gibbs was fascinated with riding through car washes and anything dealing with trains. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his sister and brother, Ella and Jason; paternal grandparents, Rev. Tony “Pa-poo” and Carolyn Edwards; maternal grandparents, Jody and Wendy Fowler; a paternal great-grandmother, Barbara Gibson; an aunt, Earleen Lamb with husband Jonathan; an uncle, Chase Fowler; cousins, Chloe Milligan with husband Matthew, and Noah Lamb; a honorary aunt, “Auntie Taylor” Whitt with husband Kameron; and Gibb’s best friend, Miles Whitt. A Celebration of Gibb’s Life will be 2:30 PM Sunday at Beech Springs Church, officiated by Rev. Eric Boggs. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2:30 PM. Entombment will follow in Cannon Byrd Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, honoring Gibbs, the family is requesting Paw Patrol and PJ Mask toys for his expected brother Bronson Edwards. You may bring those with you Sunday or deliver to Fletcher Funeral Service.
