Obituary of Betty Louise Thompson Tucker

Betty Louise Thompson Tucker, 85, widow of Bruce Rice Tucker, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 23, 2022. Mrs. Tucker was born in Simpsonville to the late Lawrence Clyde Thompson and Bessie Floise Abercrombie Thompson. She retired from Hardee’s in Fountain Inn and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Betty loved and cared for her family endlessly. Her love and tenuous spirit will be missed by all that her knew her. Surviving are two sons, Donnie Tucker with wife Stephanie and Danny Tucker; a daughter Susan Haymes; five grandchildren, Joshua Haymes with wife Amy, Heath Tucker with wife Brooke, Justin Tucker with wife Sarah, Christopher Haymes with wife Rebekah; and ten great-grandchildren, Jacob Haymes, Jackson Haymes, Jase Haymes, Grant Haymes, Elena Haymes, Courtney Tucker, Jack Tucker with wife Jaylin, Jenna Tucker and Beau Tucker. She was predeceased by a grandson, Lance Tucker; and one great-grandson Luke Tucker. A Celebration of Betty’s Life will be 11 o’clock Wednesday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends an hour prior. Burial will follow in Cannon Byrd Memorial Park.
