Obituary of Duane Ray Molizon

Duane Ray Molizon, 61, husband to Pamela “Pam” Bowlin Molizon for 35 years, went to be with the Lord on Saturday July, 30 2022. Mr. Molizon was born in Chicago, IL to the late Ray Joseph Molizon, Sr. and Eunice Deaton Molizon. He was a member of Eastside Worship Center and was employed at Thrive Upstate. Duane was passionate about making a difference and lending a helping hand. He also helped maintain Park Place Children’s Center of Simpsonville. Duane was known for listening to 70’s music and could be found chilling in his garage listening to Casey Kasem Top 40 Countdown. He also was a fan of Elvis and loved worship music. He enjoyed beach trips to Litchfield, Pawleys Island and Panama City with family and friends. Duane mostly loved being “Pop” and “Bop” to his grandchildren. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Joshua Molizon with wife Bri; a daughter, Jennifer Molizon; and two grandchildren, Morgan and Isaiah Molizon; three brothers, Randy Molizon with wife Kathy, Jeff Molizon with wife Donna, and Ray Molizon, Jr. with wife Tracie; and dear friends, Tony and Terry Padgett. He was predeceased by a brother, Rodney Molizon. A Celebration of Duane’s Life will be 3 o’clock Wednesday at Fletcher Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Josh Childers. Family will receive friends one hour prior. Burial will follow in Cannon Byrd Memorial Park. Donations may be made to Fletcher Funeral Service to cover the expenses of the funeral.
