Obituary of Martha Eugenia Davis

Martha Eugenia “Jean” Manley Davis, 68, wife of Paul Gaston Davis, Sr. for 26 years, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 5, 2022. Mrs. Davis was born in Woodruff to the late Harold Buford Manley and Sara Ophelia Armstrong Manley. She was a member of Dials United Methodist Church. Jean was an alumna of Kennesaw State University and worked as a nurse for many years. She later retired from Medical Visions. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed traveling. Jean was a caretaker by nature and loved her family and friends. She collected tea pots and practiced needle point often. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Paul “Deuce” Davis, Jr.; three daughters, Pattie Germundsen with husband Eric, Becca Domzalski and Carrie Domzalski; three brothers and their wives, Randy and Jeri Manley, Sammy and Margie Manley, and Barry and Sheri Manley; and a granddaughter, Aubrie Cromer. She was predeceased by a brother, Billy Manley; and a granddaughter, Emma Cromer. A Celebration of Jean’s Life will be 2 o’clock Monday at Dials United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends in the church immediately following the service. Burial will be private in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, P.O. Box 37920, Boone IA 50037-0920. The family is at the home of Becca Domzalski, 1139 Speedway Drive in Gray Court.
