Obituary of Clinton Everett Sieweke

Clinton Everett Sieweke, 94 husband of Marilyn Perry Sieweke of 70 years went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 6, 2022. Mr. Sieweke was born in Romeo, MI to the late Gideon Herman Sieweke and Beatrice Ann Brough Sieweke. He was preceded in death by two Brothers LaVern Sieweke and Marvin Sieweke and one sister Melva Rice. He was a veteran of the US Army, worked in the building industry and owner of Stretch & Sew Fabrics, Sarasota, FL. Clint was a 1945 Graduate of Romeo High School and was a star basketball athlete. After High school he attended Lawrence Institute of Technology College in Detroit, MI. Clint enjoyed woodworking, home design, photography and construction. He was an avid Atlanta Braves and Detroit Tigers fan. Clint loved Christmas and was known for planning surprises and gifts. He loved puzzles, playing games and spending time with his family. Surviving, in addition to his wife are a son Dr John Sieweke (Dr. Janet) of Griffin, GA; two daughters Susan Weathers (Jim) of Fountain Inn, SC and Mary Beth (Rick) of Conyers, GA; eight grandchildren. Joshua Sieweke (Sharon) of Lilburn, GA. Sarah Parkerson of Griffin, Ga. Philip Weathers (Stephanie) Of Mauldin SC, Jordan Weathers (Brittany) of Simpsonville, SC. Austin Hahn (Laurie) of Decatur GA. Cameron Weathers (Victoria) of Charleston, SC. Matthew Hahn (Lindsey) of Forsyth, GA. Zachary Hahn (Sarah) of Athens, GA: and nine great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Clint’s life with Military honors will be at 2 o’clock Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Hope Church Simpsonville, SC. Clint’s family wants to acknowledge with the sincerest appreciation the staff of Open Arms Hospice for their excellent service, and support during Clint’s final days. Thank you for doing your jobs so well!
