Obituary of Eric Omar Rivera

Eric Omar Rivera, 38, husband to Ronnie Anne Rivera, was taken from us too soon on Saturday, August 6, 2022. Eric Rivera was born in Puerto Rico to Maribel Rivera and the late Eric Samuel Rivera. Eric grew up in New Jersey and then later moving down to South Carolina in 2006. He was currently employed at Yokohama Industries where he's been the last three years. He previous worked for Walmart Neighborhood Market in Greer for five years as a stocker and maintenance associate. Eric enjoyed collecting Funko Pops, DVD's, Board Games, Eagles, T-shirts, Nutcrackers and was an avid gamer and toy collector. He was known for his beautiful smile, caring personality and loving disposition. Eric loved spending time with his family especially his wife and watching their children play on the swing set he built them himself. He was a loving husband, father and made friends with everyone he met. He will be greatly miss by all that knew him. Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are his children, twins, Eric and Liara Rivera, Twins Dante and Sofia Rivera; two step-daughters, Alexis Herbert and Arianna Herbert; and sister, Jessica Rivera and his Step-Brother Angel Meza. A Celebration of Eric’s life will be 2 o’clock Sunday at Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor Mendoza. The family will receive friends 4-6pm Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
