Sarah Buttrey Greer, age 95, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 12, 2022. Born and raised in Bellevue, TN, she was the only daughter of Pammie and Eva Buttrey. She was predeceased by her parents and her brothers Ewin and Marvin Buttrey.
She married Lawrence (Billy) Greer in 1946. They had a singularly loving marriage and raised two sons Sarah retired from the Methodist Publishing House in Nashville, TN, after 25 years of service. In 1992, she and her husband moved to Greenville, SC to be closer to grandchildren.
Sarah is survived by her husband Billy, sons Larry and Ray, four grandchildren Heather Uhall, Tyler, Katelin and Hunter Greer and one great grandchild Emma Grace Uhall.

Graveside Service will be held at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens outside of Nashville, TN on Monday at 2pm.
