Obituary of Timothy Steven Tollison

Timothy “Tim” Steven Tollison, 33, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 29, 2022. Tim was born in Greenville to Felicia Rene’ Calhoun and Danny James Tollison, Sr. He was a 2007 graduate of Fountain Inn Christian Academy where he was a varsity basketball player for the Falcons. In his senior year, he was drafted to state for the All-Stars competition. He enjoyed bass fishing, and exploring nature while looking for arrowheads with his son, Cooper. Tim was a proud resident of Hickory Tavern. He was a self-taught guitarist, songwriter and composer. He was an avid journalist of his thoughts and has a multitude of composed quotes and poetry. Tim was a protector, caregiver, and always thinking of others. His heart was so big. His greatest love was his son, Cooper. Surviving, are his mother, Felicia Calhoun Davenport with husband Randy; father, Danny James Tollison, Sr. with wife Kathleen; maternal grandmother, Patricia “Patti” Calhoun; a son Cooper; sister, Nicole Patterson with husband Nick; five brothers, Danny “DJ” Tollison, Jr. with wife Donna, Joe Snyder, Austin McFerrin, Chance Tollison, and Cory Tollison; two nephews, Jayce Patterson and Conner Tollison; and a niece, Kassidee Tollison. He was predeceased by his “Papa”, Ronnie Calhoun. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service, Fountain Inn. A Celebration Service of Tim’s Life will begin 12 noon, Saturday, at Fletcher Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. In Memory of Tim, Fletcher Funeral Service will be accepting love donations for the future education of Cooper.
