Obituary of Doris Booe Sager

Doris Fern Booe Sager, 87, wife of Richard Lee “Dick” Sager, Jr. for 25 years, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 23, 2022. Mrs. Sager was born in Veedersburg, IN to the late Lucky Elmer Booe and Arletta Atkinson Booe. She was a graduate of the Union County Hospital School of Nursing in Terre Haute, IN and a retired Registered Nurse. Doris was a social butterfly with the energy of the Energizer bunny. She volunteered countless hours to VFW Chapters throughout the state. In 2008 -2009, she proudly served as the South Carolina State President of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling, beach trips, shopping, crocheting, gardening, decorating, cooking, and watching Hallmark movies. Doris loved Christmas. She collected Angel figurines and Wizard of Oz memorabilia. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Terry Reagin, Sr. with wife Maria; two daughters, Pam Reagin, and Jean Johnson with husband Tracy; six grandchildren, Kurt Albrecht with wife Shannon, Alex Reagin, Ben Reagin, Christopher Reagin, Letti Johnson-Rosa with husband Tyler, and Amber Reagin; eleven great-grandchildren, Austin, Riley, Colton, Bailey, Elliott, Nathan, Noelle, Nick, Kaylen, Kole and Kambri ; and a great-great-granddaughter, Maelynn. She was predeceased by a son, Ron Reagin, grandson, Terry Reagin, Jr and her siblings. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday at Fletcher Funeral Service. A Celebration of Doris’ Life will be 2 o’clock Tuesday at the funeral home, followed by burial in Cannon Memorial Park.
