Please share a memory of Eloise "Cookie" to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Eloise “Cookie” Squires Richardson, 75, wife of Charles Michie Richardson for 54 years, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 2, 2022. Mrs. Richardson was born in Mullins, SC to the late Lacy Taft Squires and Martha Susan Harrelson Squires. She was a member of Reedy Fork Baptist Church, where she was active in various church activities. She enjoyed serving her church as a part of the children’s nursery program, the bereavement committee, and the hospitality committee. Cookie was a member of the Silver Star Ladies of VFW Post 1845. She enjoyed spending time with family, relaxing by the pool, and trips to the beach and mountains. Cookie loved traveling with her family immensely; however, her greatest joy came in being “Meme” to her grandchildren. Surviving, in addition to her husband, is a daughter, Deina Baynes (Mark); a sister, Brenda Williams (Gary); three grandchildren, Dalton Baynes (Skylar), Savanna Richardson (Chance), and Jake Baynes; a mother-in-law, Sarah Marlowe; a brother-in-law, Johnny Richardson (Barbara); a sister-in-law, Cindy Byerley; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Mickey Richardson II; a grandson, Nick Baynes; and four brothers, Danny Squires, Marvin Squires, Lester Squires, and Joe Squires. A Celebration of Cookie’s Life will begin 2:30 pm Thursday, at Reedy Fork Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Cannon Memorial Park.
