Obituary of Doris LeNelle Whitmire Hudson

Doris Whitmire Holland Hudson, widow of Earl D. Hudson, of Woodruff, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Fairview Park Assisted Living, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Hudson was born March 5, 1928 in Newberry to the late Bunyan and Gertrude McCarty Whitmire. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She worked at Her Majesty and C&T Manufacturing.
Surviving, are her children, Massie R. Holland, Sr. of New Brunfels, TX, LeNelle Tanner (Jimmy) of Woodruff, John W. Holland of Puyallup, WA and Jan Thompson (Jerry) of Simpsonville; grandchildren, Massie R. Holland, Jr. (Becky), Walt Tanner (Betsy), Justin Tanner, John W. Holland, Jr, Joshua Holland, Amber Thompson Jones (Charlie), Rebecca Holland Saladis (Justin) and Graydon W. Thompson; step-children, Archie Hudson (Janice), Juanita Hill (Sam) and Peggy Pendley (Wayne); nine great-grandchildren; many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8pm Monday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be 2pm Tuesday at Bethany Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Fairview Park Assisted Living and Lutheran Hospice for their hospitality.
