Robin Lynn Scoggins Larsen, 58, wife of Michael Derek Larsen, went to meet the Lord on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. Mrs. Larsen was born in Greenville to Lawson and Linda Scoggins. Robin met Derek 35 years ago on a camping trip and just recently celebrated 24 years of marriage. Robin spent her working days with Greenville Technical College, Joy Real Estate and University of South Florida. She loved Clemson tailgating, football, soccer, camping and live music. Robin was a proud mother to her boys. She dedicated much of her time to her two sons and their sports; karate, CESA soccer, golf, wrestling. She earned a Master’s degree with a 4.0 from Clemson University in Education with an undergraduate in Psychology from Clemson University. Surviving, in addition to her husband and parents, are two sons, Hunter and Kalen Larsen; a sister, Michelle Scoggins Neeley (Nick); mother-in-law, Linda Hickox (Ron); father-in-law, Gene Larsen; sister-in-law, Kathy Gomaa; 2 brothers-in-law, Ronnie Bennett (Josh) and Dennis Larsen and 10 ten nieces and nephews, Parker, Taylor, Levi, Ridge, Gunner, Grainger, Basil, Savannah, Dominic and Austin. In lieu of flowers, Robin would be grateful if you would donate to “Let There Be Mom” as they gave her much joy at the end of her life. https://lettherebemom.org The family would like to recognize and thank Robin’s hospice nurse, Jessica….. of Hospice and Palliative Care Palmetto Region and Dr. Joe Stephenson of Prisma Health Oncology for his guidance through clinical trials and genuine care. A Celebration of Robin's Life will be Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 2-4pm at Simpsonville First Baptist Church. In honor of Robin, please feel free to wear Orange representing her favorite team.
