My heart goes out to Mr trippy family. He's one of the great guys that you could ever meet handsome funny smart. He was just a lovable person. If you just look at him you just have to smile at him. I took care Mr tripping while he was in the nursing home in NHC healthcare. He was loved by everyone. I fed him ice cream everyday. Mr trippy loves some sweets. I took great care of him. He have a wonderful family a great family. Love Miss Ethel pendergrass. I always call him pops love you pops miss you pop.

Thanks, my luv! You always made sure to take care of him! I wish you could have been his companion after his fall. I knew if I was not there you and Shawna would make sure he ate and drank and got him out of bed and Shawna always made sure he was shaved and looking good. The hardest part for me was knowing he needed assisting in these tasks. Thanks for your beautiful caring soul. You are an angel and will be my sister for life! Hugs your new sis Linda.

I really enjoyed all the times I got to sit with Sam. Sometimes he would talk for hours about his military days and his family. I loved hearing his stories. Sometimes he just liked to sit and watch TV and was perfectly content as long as he had his "cookies". I will really miss him and our talks. I sure do love me some Mr. Sam. Until we meet again my dear friend.

Sam and Ruth are both top notch people. I met Ruth in the prolife movement in the 1990s and came to know Mark and ultimately Sam as a result. Sam was a real gem of a guy. I really never knew the details of his.history until I read his obituary. He was always positive and upbeat and very active, enjoying life to the fullest. I always enjoyed spending time with him and his family when they lived off of East North Street, back in the good ole days. He is an American hero and a greet role model for his family and those who knew him of what a Christian man looks like. If you are in Jesus Christ you can have confidence that we will see and enjoy both Sam and Ruth in the presence of our LORD and Savior for eternity.
