Obituary of Brian Earl Allen

Brian Earl Allen, 52, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. Brian was an alumnus of North Greenville University and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He served the Fountain Inn community as a produce manager for Bi-Lo and Community Cash and often spoke of his favorite customers. Brian had a passion for cooking and loved gardening, a love he inherited from his grandmother, Lula Allen and his dad. In recent years, he tended to his “world’s smallest garden.” Brian’s favorite role was girl dad and Pop. He is survived by his daughter, Samantha Mauldin with husband Bryan; a grandson, Jude; a granddaughter, Millie; two sisters, Allison Allen and Paige Reed with husband Dale; nieces and nephews, Katie Meyers, Austin Reed, and Sean Allen; his former wife but forever family, Donna Allen; and the whole Knox family. He was predeceased by his mother, Kay Latimer Allen and his father, Thomas Earl Allen. A Celebration of Brian’s Life will be 2 o’clock Sunday, October 30th, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Anthony McCaleb. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
