Obituary of Travis O'Neal Green

Travis O’Neal Green, 43, husband of Jillian Crews, went to be with the Lord on October 24, 2022.
Mr. Green was born in Greenville, SC to the late Kenneth O’Neal Green, Sr. and Martha Case Green. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in Simpsonville, SC. Travis was a highly decorated veteran. He served in Operation Enduring Freedom. He completed four tours of duty. Travis served honorably in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. His experience in the Army was very impactful on his life. He was always willing to educate people about the military. Each year on Veteran’s Day, Travis erected a display of his military memorabilia at the Walmart where he was employed. He was known as a man who loved Jesus, his family and his country. He always looked for the best in people and would go out of his way to help others.
Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are two daughters, Lillian and Chloe Green of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, Kenneth Green, Jr. of Pelzer and Patrick Green of Port Orange, Florida; a sister, FiFi Smith of Greenville, SC; in-laws, Blake and Lynn Arnett of Fuquay Varina, NC. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny Sheppard and William "Billy" Green.
A Celebration of Travis’ Life will be held Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 2pm at Fletcher Funeral Service. A visitation will be help prior to the service from 1-2pm. Burial will be Monday, October 31, 2022 at 11am at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
