Mr. Torrence William Aldred, Jr. of Charlotte, NC, died Monday, December 26th, 2022. T.W. was born in Charlotte on August 18th, 1931. He was the son of the late Georgia Ann Rhyne Aldred and the late Torrence William Aldred, Sr. of Charlotte. He is the husband of the late Carole Cain Aldred, brother of the late Margaret Aldred Blucher and late Georgia Ann Yount, and uncle to the late Shirley Kapp Smith. He is survived by his daughters, Jo Elisabeth Aldred and Katherine Aldred Evans, his son-in-law Michael Leigh Evans, grandson William Jake Evans, and granddaughter Katherine Lila Evans; nephews Tor Watson Smith, David Lee Gray and Josh Aldred Gray; sister-in-law Janet Marie Cain; brother-in-law Richard Gary Cain and his wife Cyndie Cain; sister-in-law Kathleen Cain Trani and her husband Vince Trani; sister-in-law Patricia Cain Alles and her husband Duane Alles. T.W. graduated from Harding High School and Davidson College. He spent his career in residential and commercial real estate in Charlotte. He was a member of Calvary Church in Charlotte, and Fellowship Greenville in Greenville, SC. T.W. was a caring husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed playing golf, bird hunting, telling jokes, fishing, working in his garden and studying the Bible. Those who knew T.W. knew how much he loved his Savior, Jesus Christ. His family finds great peace in knowing he is now in the presence of the Lord. He made a wonderful impact on all who had the pleasure of doing life with him. T.W. is loved and admired by his family for his heart for the people around him. One of his favorite places was the Pawleys Island area, where he would enjoy trips with his family and friends. T.W. always knew how to brighten a room. A Memorial Service to honor his life will be held at Fellowship Greenville, Auditorium 2, on Monday, January 9th, at 11:00 A.M.
