Erika Kristine Trexler Delgado, 60, wife of Robert Edward Delgado for 34 years, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 20, 2023. Mrs. Delgado was born in Chattanooga, TN to the late Grady Lee Trexler, Sr. and Rena Louise Snider Trexler. She was a member of Faith Renewed and a proud USMC wife and Toys for Tots volunteer with USMC Charlie Company in Charleston, SC. Erika was a graduate of Tyner High School (Chattanooga) and a fan of Tennessee and Clemson football. She loved traveling, camping, decorating for all holidays, especially Christmas, and being outdoors. She was supportive by her very nature, giving endlessly of her time and energy to help others excel and achieve their dreams and goals. Erika was a wrestling enthusiast, especially women's wrestling, and a member of USA Wrestling and SC Wrestling. She served on the nominating committee for the SC Wrestling Hall of Fame for coaches and officials. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Brandon Delgado and Bronson Delgado; two daughters, Brittany Delgado (Alex) and Brieana Delgado (Robin); a brother, Steffen Trexler (Kay); a sister, Bobbette Taft (Mason); a mother-in-law, Gloria Bishop; thirteen nieces and nephews and eight great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Grady Trexler, Jr. A Celebration of Erika’s Life will be 3 o’clock Thursday at Faith Renewed, officiated by Rev. Terry Rogers. The family will receive friends prior to the service between 1:30 – 2:45 pm.
