Obituary of Glenna Beatrice Coker

Glenna Beatrice Coker, 72, died on Thursday, January 19, 2023. Glenna was born January 1, 1951 in Montgomery, AL to the late Roy Garland Coker, Sr. and Ruby Elizabeth Blackwell Coker. She was a graduate of Greenville Technical College and worked many years for Jacobs Engineering. She was a member of the Simpsonville East Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Glenna enjoyed travel, reading and music. Her greatest enjoyment, however, came from devoting herself in service to her God, Jehovah. Surviving are a brother, David Coker with wife Rhonda; a sister, Cindy Coker; a sister-in-law, Jerri Coker Dover; nephews David Coker, Jr. with wife Fahtmah, Seth Coker with wife Ashton and Caleb Coker; niece Lauren Pitzer with husband B.J.; great-nephews Forest and Robbie; great-nieces Riley, Destiny, Kayleigh, Alex and Gracie; great-great nephews Jackson and Coleson and great-great niece Stiorra. She was predeceased by a brother, Gary Coker; and a nephew, Lucas Coker. Services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 1709 Anderson Ridge Rd. Simpsonville, SC 29681 on Saturday February 4th at 2:00 PM.
