Mary Anders Droege was called Home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 14th. She was 80 years old. Originally from Hendersonville, NC, Mary lived in Woodhaven, MI and also resided in Greenville, SC for the past 15 years. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Mary Jane Anders, her husband, Don Droege and daughter Lisa Droege. Her sister, Montie Lee Anders Kerley, and her brother, Frederick Oren Anders, also preceded her in death. “Aunt Mary” was beloved by her large family. She will be dearly missed by 50 nieces and nephews as well as her brothers, Robert Anders and Ray Anders, and her sister Marie Howard. Mary will always be remembered for taking care of others and touching everyone with her endearing personality and welcoming spirit. Celebration of her life will be held at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Greenville, South Carolina on Sunday, March 19th at 1:30 pm.
