Obituary of Matthew Fuller

Matthew Clyde Fuller, 85, husband of Mary Harvey Fuller for 68 years, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 28, 2023. Mr. Fuller was born in Whitmire to the late Lawrence Clyde Fuller and Eva Trammell Fuller. He was a member of Fountain Inn First Baptist and former member of Emmanuel Praise and Worship. He retired after 41 years from John D. Hollingsworth. Matthew loved going to yard sales and the jockey lot and tinkering in his garage but his greatest love besides Jesus, was his family. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Diane Brown (Keith); three grandchildren, Shannon Shafer (Donnie), Jennifer Collier (Keith) and Joshua Fuller (Elizabeth); seven great-grandchildren, Austin Whitmire (Tiffany), Lacey Martinez (Tito), Zackary Connor (Yoshi), Chase Fuller, Hartly Fuller, Landon Shafer and Rita Shafer and three great-great-grandchildren, Gatlin Martinez, John Whitmire and Ayato Connor. He was predeceased by a son, Davey Fuller; a grandson, Jonathan Brown; a great-grandson, Matthew Whitmire; a sister, Willie Barrett and a brother-in-law, Raymond Barrett. Funeral Services will be 3pm Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Cannon Byrd Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
