Edna Mahaffey McKinney,82, wife of Thomas “Tom” Jefferson McKinney for 64 years, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 9, 2023.

Mrs. McKinney was born in Greenville to the late Leonard Mahaffey and Julia Gresham Mahaffey. She was a 1958 graduate of Parker High School where she served as valedictorian. Edna enjoyed being at the home and spending time with family.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Wanda Kloeser (Thomas) and Rhonda Gilbert (Mark); a sister, Annie James (Doug); four grandchildren, Mitchell Gilbert (Shauna Finley), Megan Kimbrell (Tyler), Rachel Leopard (Cameron), and Hannah Bradshaw (Joshua); five great-grandchildren, Brody Gilbert, Madelyn Leopard, Caleb Bradshaw, Micah Bradshaw, and Shiloh Bradshaw. She was predeceased by a brother, David Mahaffey.

Graveside services will be held 2 o’clock Monday in Clear Spring Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Gary Montgomery.
