Obituary of Randy Davenport

Randal William “Randy” Davenport, 57, husband of Felicia Rene Calhoun Davenport for 12 years, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 12, 2023. Mr. Davenport was born in Laurens to the late Tony Lamar Davenport and Brenda Joyce Staton Davenport. Randy was an ASC Certified Mechanic and a GM Certified Technician. He worked at Simpsonville Chevrolet for 33 years until their closing. He then worked for ZF Transmissions. He was a huge fan of NASCAR and dirt-track racing and a collector of automotive racing memorabilia. Randy loved the lake and competing in trout fishing tournaments. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Danny Tollison, Jr. with wife Donna; a daughter, Nicole Patterson with husband Nick; a brother, Allen Davenport; two sisters, Shirley Stipanovic with husband Joe, and Tammy Davenport; and four grandchildren, Jayce Patterson, Kassidee Tollison, Cooper Cotton and Connor Tollison. He was predeceased by a son, Tim Tollison; and two brothers, Lamar Davenport and Donnie Davenport. A Celebration of Randy’s Life will be held between 5 – 7 o’clock Friday, March 17th, at Fletcher Funeral Service.
