Obituary of Bobby Coleman

Robert Fred “Bobby” Coleman, 79, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Mr. Coleman was born in Greenville to the late Marcus Waverly Coleman and Frances Louise Leopard Coleman. He was a member of First Baptist Simpsonville. Bobby was an equestrian protégé. Many people sought his advice and expertise to any thing horse related. He enjoyed trail riding and rambling around town. He cherished being a PaPa and was often observed acting just like one of the kids when around his grandbabies. Surviving are two daughters, Cindy Jennings with husband Tommy, and Mandy Gault; five grandchildren, Michael Bolden (Liz), Brittany Brown (Dee), Allison Brown, Melissa Gault (Colton), and Bradley Gault; and thirteen great-grandchildren, Jaylinn, Jayce, Kaydence, Hunter, Bryce, Cameron, Bentley, Dillon, Ava, Logan, Madelyn, Carly, and Ethan. He was predeceased by two brothers, Jimmy Coleman and Roy Coleman. The family will receive between 2 – 3 o’clock Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service. A Celebration of Bobby’s Life will begin at 3 o’clock. Burial will be in Cannon Memorial Park. The family will be at Bobby's house, 3165 Deck Road, Gray Court, SC 29645.
