Obituary of Justin Brown

Justin Brooks Brown, 40, died suddenly after a brief illness and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 15, 2023. Mr. Brown was born in Greenville to Charles Stancell “Stan” Brown and Angela Gayle “Angie” Garrett Brown. He was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church. Justin was a graduate of Pickens High School, where he played football and basketball; however, his greatest honor was being the youngest ever Blue Flame athlete to play on the golf team. He was an alumnus of Coastal Carolina University, where he played on the golf team as a scholarship athlete. He was a huge fan of the Clemson Tigers and the LA Lakers. Surviving, in addition to his parents, is his brother and best friend, Jason “Jake” Brown. A Celebration of Justin’s Life will be held at a later date. Burial was private in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens officiated by Rev. Fred Buchanan. Memorials in Justin’s honor may be made to the SC School for the Deaf and the Blind, 355 Cedar Springs Road, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
