Obituary of William Snow

William “Bill” Z. Snow, 90, husband of Carolyn Snow, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 27, 2023 He was born to the late Ralph Perry and Pearle Cooper Snow on October 26, 1932 in the Bethany Community of Fountain Inn. Following the death of his father in June, 1936, Billy was raised mostly in the home of his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Z.B. Cooper of Simpsonville, SC. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a special aunt, Mrs. Dot Parsons, raised in the home; two sons, Ralph Snow with wife Setora and John Snow with wife Tina of Simpsonville, SC; a daughter, Rebecca Anne Hamby with husband Mike of Edgemoor, SC; a granddaughter, Lauren Hamby McCrimmons with husband JJ, III of Lancaster, SC; a great-grandson, Jerry “Jay” Robert McCrimmons, IV; a brother-in-law, Dan P King of Asheville, NC; a step-son John Barry White with wife Anita of Simpsonville; two step-grandsons, John and Matthew Troup and numerous cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his first wife, Gwendolyn Naomi King Snow; an infant daughter, Judith Kaye Snow and a step-daughter, Dena Lee White. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be 11 o’clock Saturday at Clear Spring Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.
