Obituary of Patsy Kelly

Patsy Joyce Bragg Kelly, 80, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 21, 2023. Ms. Kelly was born in Owings to the late John Henry Bragg, Jr and Margaret Elizabeth Suttles Bragg. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and taught the Open Door Sunday School class. Patsy owned and operated Patsy’s Sunroom for over 30 years. She enjoyed watching Soap Operas and the Hallmark Channel and going to yard sales. Patsy loved people and being around them and meeting and greeting new people. Surviving are a daughter, Arlene Abercrombie (Ricky); a brother, Steve Bragg; a sister, Michelle Osborn; two grandchildren, Becky Asberry (Tim) and Mark Abercrombie (Leslie); three great grandchildren, Cole, Madison and Carson; three nieces, Kayla Gowan (Ray), Brooke Mundy (James Medlin) and Kathy Neal (James); two nephews, Blake Turner (Dana) and Robert Holcombe; two great nieces, Bella Medlin and Kaleigh Turner and a great nephew, Austin Templeton. She was predeceased by a sister, Sarah Nipper and a niece, Jackie Smith. A Celebration of Patsy’s Life will be 11am Saturday at Beulah Baptist Church.
