Obituary of Grady Ritchie

Grady Ritchie, 79, husband of Brenda “Mickey” Lawson Ritchie for 54 years, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 24, 2023. Mr. Ritchie was born in Fountain Inn to the late James “Jim” Phillip Ritchie and Louise Leopard Ritchie. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and member of Clear Spring Baptist Church. Grady retired from Engineered Products and did small engine repairs. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors. Surviving, in addition to his wife, is a son, Jonathan Ritchie; a daughter, Anita Ritchie; and two sisters, Patsy Weathers and Judith Stone. He was predeceased by a daughter, Andrea Ritchie; two brothers, James Ritchie and Ray Ritchie; and a sister, Evelyn Nalley. The family will receive friends 6-7:30 P.M. Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service located in Fountain Inn. Graveside services will be 10 o’clock A.M. Wednesday at Clear Spring Baptist Church cemetery.
